The Chesapeake Women's Network of Talbot County seeks to facilitate the enrichment and professional growth of professional women through communication and support while stimulating business opportunities for them in the community. The organization's philanthropy is largely focused on providing scholarships for women 22 years of age and older who live in surrounding counties and are returning to school to pursue a college degree.
As part of its mission, the organization is seeking applicants to its 2018 scholarship program. Scholarship amounts will be determined on an application-by-application basis.
To be considered, applicants must be female, at least 22 years old, and a citizen of the United States. Applicants also must be a high school graduate or have a GED and have been officially accepted (or in process of being accepted) to an accredited degree or certificate program at a college or university in the U.S.; carry a minimum of three credits per semester; and not be in the process of earning a doctoral-level degree. Applicants also must demonstrate clear financial need and career goals and objectives.
See the Chesapeake Women's Network of Talbot County website for complete program guideline and application instructions.
