The American Urological Association is accepting applications for its 2018 Gallagher Health Policy Scholar program.
The annual program is designed to support young urologists who have demonstrated a commitment to, or have a keen interest in, the field of health policy and who are dedicated to advancing AUA’s health policy agenda. Gallagher Scholars spend up to thirty days away from their practice in intensive workshops dedicated to a range of health policy issues. They also will receive mentoring from seasoned physician volunteers, invitations to important meetings and conferences, and opportunities to participate in public policy activities as outlined by the Public Policy Council.
A stipend of $15,000 and reimbursement for travel and other expenses will be provided over the course of the year-long program.
To be eligible, applicants must be a member of AUA who has demonstrated a commitment to, or has a keen interest in, the field of health policy and who is dedicated to advancing urology-focused health policy agenda.
